Join SUPA Cares: Make a Difference Through Volunteering

Responsible for designing and implementing engaging sports practices and activities that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Provides guidance, feedback, and support to participants, helping them develop athletic skills and achieve personal growth. Monitors participant progress and adjusts coaching strategies as needed. Currently seeking coaches for youth volleyball, basketball and flag football.

Builds trusting relationships with youth participants, offering emotional support, encouragement, and guidance on personal, academic, and athletic challenges. Acts as a positive role model and helps participants set and achieve personal goals, promoting self-confidence and resilience.

Assists in organizing and coordinating events and activities for youth participants, such as sports tournaments, workshops, or educational outings. Works closely with staff and other volunteers to manage logistics, secure venues, coordinate schedules, and ensure smooth execution of events.

Provides academic support and guidance to participants, helping them with homework, developing study skills, and offering subject-specific assistance. Works one-on-one or in small groups to address individual learning needs and foster academic success.

Collaborates with staff to create and implement marketing strategies that promote the organization’s mission and activities to the community. Manages social media accounts, creates engaging content, and helps expand the organization’s online presence.

Provides general administrative support to staff, including organizing files, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and assisting with day-to-day operations. Helps maintain an efficient and organized work environment to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.

Establishes and maintains relationships with local schools, community organizations, and businesses to increase awareness and participation in SUPA Cares programs. Identifies potential partnerships and opportunities to expand the organization’s reach and impact.

Assists in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support the organization’s financial needs. Researches potential donors, helps plan and execute fundraising events, and explores new avenues for securing funds.

Researches and identifies grant opportunities that align with the organization’s mission and programs. Writes and submits compelling grant proposals, works with staff to gather necessary information, and helps secure funding to support the organization’s initiatives.

Captures and documents special moments, events, and activities through photography and videography. Provides visual content to promote SUPA Cares and its participants’ achievements, helping tell the organization’s story and celebrate its impact on the community.
